My sessions run on real exam questions and past papers rather than endless theory. Question by question, we work through the problems that actually come up, until your child can sit down on the day and recognise exactly what's being asked of them.

Good to know

GCSE Maths questions

These are the questions parents usually ask before we start.

Do you teach both foundation and higher tier?

Yes. I tutor both foundation (grades 1–5) and higher tier (grades 4–9). If you're not sure which tier suits your child best, we can talk it through in the free first session and aim for the grade they need.

Which GCSE Maths exam boards do you cover?

I tutor GCSE Maths across AQA, Edexcel and OCR. Every session follows your child's exact specification, so we practise the question styles and mark schemes for their board.

My child has lost confidence in maths. Can you help?

Absolutely. Plenty of my students arrive anxious about maths. First we go back and fill the gaps that keep tripping them up, then we build from there with real exam questions until things click and their confidence returns.

Is the first session really free?

Yes, completely. There's no commitment either. We get to know each other, look at the topics your child finds hardest, and decide together whether it's a good fit before anything further is booked.

How does payment work?

Sessions are £25 per hour, paid session by session. There's no contract and no joining fee, and if something comes up you can message me before the lesson and we'll move it to another slot.
