My sessions run on real exam questions and past papers, not endless theory. We work through the problems that actually come up, until your child can sit down on the day and know exactly what each question is asking for.
Real progress from my maths students.
A maths student I tutored improved from a D to an A in a single year by working through exam questions every session.
Thank you very much for tutoring her, she's come a long way from when you took on the role and her confidence has built over time.
The things parents usually want to know before we start.
Yes. I tutor both foundation (grades 1–5) and higher tier (grades 4–9). If you're not sure which tier suits your child best, we can talk it through in the free first session and aim for the grade they need.
I tutor GCSE Maths across AQA, Edexcel and OCR. Every session follows your child's exact specification, so we practise the question styles and mark schemes for their board.
Absolutely. A lot of my students start out anxious about maths. We go back to fill the gaps that are tripping them up, then build from there with real exam questions until things start to click and their confidence grows.
Yes. The first session is completely free with no commitment. We get to know each other, look at the topics your child finds hardest, and make sure it's a good fit before booking anything further.
Sessions are £25 per hour, paid per session. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full.
Tell me a little about your child and what they're working towards, no commitment. I usually reply within a day.
